I’ve been building websites since 1996 and in the process I’ve learned many many things. I took an around the world trip for a year back in 2001 and when I came back I wasn’t sure what to do. I knew I wanted to work with computers but wasn’t sure in what capacity. So I decided to take a break and “do other things” for work. That lasted until 2005 when I got a job doing SEO and website building for a local company.

I knew I didn’t want to keep building sites, or do high level programming and I was not great at doing graphics. So what else was left? Thankfully SEO. I’ve been learning everything I can get my hands on about SEO since 2005 but never decided to put my skills to use for myself until I learned of Mark Ling. I wouldn’t consider myself an expert at SEO but very very close.

In 2009 around May I bought Affiloblueprint from Mark Ling. I didn’t really get started with the business and get going until around September of that year. But since then I’ve slowly been growing my online business.

I used to work in SEO for a company for about 5 years, then the economy went bad and I had to freelance. At which point I finally realized, anybody who really knows SEO doesn’t go “work for somebody else.” So now I’m working full time on my online business.

Typically I spend about 8 hours a day or more on it from my home office 6-7 days a week. To be honest I don’t really ever want to go back selling my soul working for somebody else.

I’d love to meet other people who are also on the same path. I’m working towards paying off debt and one day buying a house.

So my goal is to take everything I’ve learned in my SEO job for the past 5 years and what I’ve learned recently from Affilorama and build a business myself. I’ll be sharing tips and insights I gain to hopefully help you on your journey.
