Affilorama Weekly Update 35
Apr 3rd, 2011 | By Justin | Category: Affilorama Website UpdateThis past week has been a lesson in patience and not giving up. I went days and days with no sales. I’ve done this before but never to this extent. When I first started I realized there would be days and even weeks with no sales. That made sense to me. But not so much when I’m getting the kind of traffic I’m getting. One day I got over 400 hops from one site alone. Granted my 6 other sites are only averaging about 80 visitors per day. To have that many days with no sales was pretty frustrating. I finally got one today. Oh well it’s just the way the cookie crumbles I guess.
I pretty much abandoned my adsense sites. Having 7 clickbank sites is well enough for me. Don’t get me wrong, when I get big time I’ll have a bunch of adsense, amazon and CPA sites to compliment my Clickbank sites. But that’s going to have to wait till the future when I can hire more guys to do more work. I never was a good multi tasker. Perhaps it’s a guy thing.
I bought Bookmarking Demon recently and am quite impressed. I’m currently going through and spinning all the titles, urls and descriptions in order to get the best use out of it. For my main site I have 70 articles to spin. It’s quite a project. I was able to export over 3,000 links from Pingback Optimizer that I will use in Bookmarking Demon. I’ll create a new account on there to bookmark those guys.
Still using Sick Submitter and a virtual server. That’s going well too. I need to buy some more packets soon.
I’m working with a writer as well to add about 20-30 new articles to my 7 sites. I’m doing it piecemeal so I shouldn’t have a problem paying for it with business fundage.
My worker is working out excellent. I’m so lucky and blessed to have him. Now I just need 5 more of him and we can really start making some money like Clayton or Michelle.
I’m also still in the process of spinning and adding every single one of my articles to AM Robot. I have a list a mile long of tasks I need to get done. I could seriously use 10 full time workers. You ever feel like that?
Here’s my piddly little earnings screenshot.

I still get those streaks where I have no sales for days. It’s weird, huh? I always wonder if ClickBank has broken or something, LOL, but I’m sure it is just – as you put it – the way the cookies crumbles. I know there are weeks too when I get way more sales than I usually do – those just don’t bother me.
Keep your chin up. You’ll get there soon – I think it’s great you are expanding on your existing sites and it sounds like you are backlinking like you should too. I have lists of tasks like that too…
By the way, I expect you will certainly be making more than I do soon – it’s funny, because I certainly don’t think of my earnings as “real money”, but I guess it is all relative in the end!
No way, you’re making way more than I am!
Thanks, my chin is up. Just focusing on building things up. I need to spend more time with Sick. That’s one heck of a program. Thanks for helping me out with learning how to use it!
